Another one of my aprons made with antique fabrics.
You know that I live with an apron, at home and at work, I always wear it, not only for cooking, but also for carrying out the thousand household activities.
But I like to always be tidy so the apron has to be nice!!!! That is, it has to be able to be worn even when I invite friends to dinner, for example.
That's why I thought of this delightful apron, which is almost a dress, to wear over clothes.
A fresh and cheerful apron, because we love red decorations, and even more so if they are numbers and flowers.
This apron is made from a beautiful natural vintage linen fabric, which features a lovely front embroidery, an embroidered L in English cursive in two colours, red and white, enriched with flowers and leaves.
The front panel of the skirt is then completed with a beautiful red embroidery, bordered by two openwork stitches.
The model is typical of Cecibirbona: it features a bodice to which a rich gathered skirt is attached; the front and back are tied with two side bows.
It is worn from above in a very practical way, even without untying the side bows every time. It can also be worn, like all my aprons, in a way to make it more adherent, as you can see in the photos.
It has two comfortable and roomy pockets.
The hems of the skirt and pockets are the original ones of the cloth.
The fit is loose and comfortable, so it can be worn over skirts and trousers, but at the same time it is very graceful and feminine.
One of a kind.
The fabric is a pure vintage linen from the last century.
Small imperfections and small stains testify to the age of this fabric and speak of its past. Appreciate them and love this apron that will tell you about its past.
Hand wash with mild soap or machine wash at 30 degrees on delicate cycle. Do not spin. Do not dry in the sun. Take care of it.
One size fits all. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall.
