A delicious dress for the kitchen, and not only.... because it is not just an apron. It is a marvel that comes to us from a distant past.

Its history begins about a century ago, from a beautiful old hand-woven raw linen fabric that I had the honor of having in my tailoring shop, transforming it into one of my aprons.
A unique piece, from the past, which has seen the light again after many many decades.

An apron in the classic model by Cecibirbona, with a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected on the sides by two bows, with two comfortable front pockets that are embellished with a delightful hand-crocheted trimming.

A delicate detail that makes it even more romantic.

A beautiful fabric, those of the past, hand-made on a loom, resistant but soft, destined to last over time. The loom-made cloths had a width dictated by the size of the loom itself and were therefore sewn by hand in length and these resistant and perfect hand-made seams are proudly displayed on this apron.

The fit is comfortable, it can be adjusted with the bows on the sides, a detail that makes it suitable for all sizes.
You can see in the photos the different ways to wear it.

You see it worn by me who is 164 cm tall.

The sleeves I am wearing are on sale on this shop in the Accessories collection.

The fabric is a beautiful fabric from the early 1900s, so small imperfections characterize it and testify to its past history.
The color of this linen is a beautiful hazelnut and the embroidery is instead done in beige. The color of the fabric will gradually tend to lighten, a process due to the naturalness of the linen it is made of.

I also decided not to completely remove the traces of color that time has left on the fabric, proceeding with too aggressive washes, because they testify to its age and its past history; little by little, with washing, unfortunately, they will go away by themselves. Love them because they are beautiful.

Unique piece, ready for delivery.

Hand wash in cold water and hang inside out away from direct sunlight to preserve natural color loss.
