Guinea apron with pink monogram TM (Ref. 27)
Guinea apron with pink monogram TM (Ref. 27)
The apron for friends who love small details, clean and well-made things, even if simple.
All elements that are present in this apron and that make it precious.
Another delightful cloth in a rustic vintage cotton guinea, cream-colored and resistant, that I found at a flea market in the Tuscan province and that comes from an old wardrobe of my grandmother.
The front panel of the skirt is embellished with a delightful double pink stitching that secures the hem, forming a decorative element.
The same stitching of the skirt is also present on the pockets, a detail that further enriches this apron, making it delightful and refined, despite the use of a “poor” fabric.
The same colored thread was used to embroider the monogram formed by the two initials of the woman who commissioned the cloth, TM, simple but in a beautiful capital cursive font.
The model is the classic one by Cecibirbona, with a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected on the sides by two bows.
A youthful apron, but also classic, really suitable for all ages. It is in fact perfect for a girl but also for an adult lady or a grandmother.
The fit is comfortable, making it suitable for all sizes.
You can see it on the site worn in two different ways, looser or more fitted to the body, so you can adjust it according to your taste.
The fabric is a pure cotton guinea embroidered vintage, dating back to the first half of the last century. The more you wash and use it, the softer and more beautiful it will become. You can iron it or leave it crumpled, as I did in these photos, to show it to you in its natural state.
Any small defects in the fabric or small stains are not to be considered defects, they are evidence of the past life of this fabric. Appreciate them, they will tell you about other lives, other people and other times.
One size fits all. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall.
The light blue version is also available
