A beautiful dress for the kitchen, and not only.... because it is not just an apron. It is a marvel that comes to us from a distant past.

Its story begins over a century ago, from a beautiful antique linen fabric hand-woven on a loom with a wonderful monogram and a very delicate lace that I had the honor of having in my tailoring shop, transforming it into one of my aprons.
A unique piece, from the past, which has seen the light again after many many decades.
This cloth is an art piece from a late nineteenth-century trousseau, and as such should be considered very precious indeed.

An apron in the classic model by Cecibirbona, with a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected at the sides by two bows, with two comfortable front pockets.

A beautiful fabric, those of the past, hand-made on a loom. The loom-made cloths had a width dictated by the size of the loom itself and were therefore sewn by hand in length and these resistant and perfect hand-made seams are beautifully displayed on the skirt.

The original hand embroidery of the monogram CC, the initials of the woman to whom the cloth belonged. They are two very large and beautiful letters, embroidered in relief.

Really gorgeous!

How beautiful is the lace that adorns the front panel of the skirt and the two pockets, high and perfectly made, by hand.

This apron condenses all the most important elements: a beautiful fabric, a stunning monogram and a high and wonderfully made lace.
All this combined with the Cecibirbona model…for you!

The fit is comfortable, it can be adjusted with the bows on the sides, a detail that makes it suitable for all sizes.
You can see in the photos the different ways to wear it.

The fabric is a beautiful fabric from the late 1800s, so you will find small imperfections and signs of wear that characterize it and testify to its past history. The fabric is still in good condition but time has left its marks, so this apron is not for everyone, but only for those who know how to read in the signs of time an added value, a trace of the decades that this apron brings to us.

The color of the fabric and lace will gradually tend to lighten, a process due to the naturalness of the linen it is made of.

Unique piece, ready for delivery.

Hand wash in cold water and hang inside out away from direct sunlight to preserve natural color loss.
