A real discovery, so many beautiful and perfectly preserved pieces, thanks to the fact that they were forgotten for over a century inside this trunk.

In addition to personal items, there were also bed and bathroom linens.
These two embroidered pillowcases are beautiful. Made from a beautiful medium-weight loom-woven linen and richly embroidered with the large initials of Angiolina and a motif of flowers and leaves. A precious and perfectly made embroidery.
At the ends a very beautiful and refined lace.
Instead of buttons, ribbons close them like a bag.
The maximum usable size is 65x47 cm.
The pillowcases have been carefully washed but I did not want to insist on some small stains that they have in some places, because they are very old and must be respected and loved for what they are. These are not defects but small evidence of the age of this set.
You can machine wash them on a gentle cycle or by hand, with mild soap. Air dry them and do not spin.
