Another vintage cotton fabric, white and resistant, that I found in an antique market in the Tuscan province and that comes from an old trunk of my grandmother, like most of the fabrics I use to make my aprons.
The front panel of the skirt is embellished with a lovely high original lace border, which is found on the two comfortable front pockets.
This detail makes this kitchen dress fresh and youthful, but also timeless, so it can be perfect for a girl who will wear it with jeans as well as for a lady who can wear it when she receives her family on holidays.
But it also features another delightful detail, the beautiful monogram embroidered on the skirt, the two letters PT which must have been the initials of the woman who had it embroidered or perhaps the initials she embroidered herself.
It has a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected at the sides by two bows, which make it adjustable in width.
The fabric is a pure vintage cotton with its original lace edge, medium weight.
