I really like this comfortable youthful apron, but also classic, suitable for all ages.
It is in fact perfect for a girl, but also for an adult lady or a grandmother.
An empire style apron, in a beautiful, sturdy white vintage cotton, with a short bodice attached to a long skirt that features small gathers for a bit of fullness. Two long straps are inserted on the bodice and fasten with beautiful vintage mother-of-pearl buttons. There are two pairs so you can choose the right size.
The characteristic feature of this apron is given by the two roomy pockets richly hand-embroidered with a motif of daisies that seem to have just been picked from a spring meadow. The embroidery is beautiful and perfectly executed and the daisies are differently distributed in the two pockets, forming a real bouquet of flowers on one of them. Beautiful!
It also features the initials GB hand embroidered in one corner of the skirt, the initials of the woman who had the cloth embroidered.
The hem of the skirt features the original hand-made openwork embroidery of the cloth.
The apron at the back closes to the bodice thanks to two long laces to tie and an additional button the same as the others.
One size fits all, ready for delivery. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall, suitable for a size M. The width of the bodice is approximately 94 cm.
