Another wonderful antique linen cloth, which comes from a precious trousseau dating back to the end of the 19th century.
A youthful but also classic apron, suitable for all ages. It is in fact perfect for a girl but also for an adult lady or a grandmother.
The model is the typical one of my apron with a wide bodice that continues in two gathered panels and connected on the sides by two bows. It has two comfortable pockets.
But the wonder lies first of all in the linen fabric made on a loom, hand-woven and sewn lengthwise with dense and very strong stitches, even if made by hand, as was the custom in those days. A beautiful fabric featuring a large, perfectly embroidered monogram in a modern, stylised font. Added to this is a wonderful high hand-made lace border that decorates the front of the skirt and the two pockets, surmounted by a beautiful fraying that completes this beautiful set of decorative elements.
