Set of two bath towels and a pillowcase with BR monogram
How could I resist?
As soon as I saw them I fell in love…this three-piece set is antique and beautiful!
These are two bath towels and a pillowcase that are part of a trousseau from the early twentieth century, belonging to a lady of a Florentine family.
The embroidery on these two linen and cotton cloths is truly stunning and comes in two natural colours, one beige and the other white.
The embroideries that are articulated around the beautiful BR monogram are perfectly executed and are absolutely current, in fact they would be beautiful both in an ancient and in a modern context, where they would create a delightful contrast.
These two sheets are almost the same size and together create a delicate color contrast, but they can also be displayed and used individually, both in the bathroom and, possibly, also as curtains.
The hems are high and made with hemstitch, a stitch that also recurs in the embroidery, framing it.
The pillowcase is also wonderful and can be used as a pillow for a single bed or as a central pillow to add to the two in use in a double bed.
The pillowcase closes with buttons.
