These linen towels with their beautiful crocheted frill are part of a series of four pieces, present in this collection of my shop.
They are not particularly old, they belonged to a dear lady I had the pleasure of knowing and who had them made for her daughter, at the time, who however didn't want them... I instead fell in love with them.
The linen fabric is soft and beautiful and has a hemstitch on one short side. On the other side we have the same finish, plus a beautiful crocheted ruffle that has a different design on each of the sheets. They are beautiful and well made.
As for the use we can make of them, in my opinion they are perfect as curtains and for this purpose they are already ready, just pass the rod inside the channel that the hemstitch delimits and we thus have beautiful curtains for the kitchen or the bathroom or a dinette, for example.
The lady told me that she had also thought of them as bath towels or even to decorate a corner of the kitchen…
In short, you can use them as you like, they will bring a touch of romance and freshness into your home.
