Antique linen apron with high hem and embroidered monogram
Antique linen apron with high hem and embroidered monogram
The apron for friends who love details, clean things and things done well.
All elements that are present in this apron and that make it truly precious.
Another wonderful vintage linen cloth, white and fresh, that I bought at a flea market in the Tuscan province and that comes from an old wardrobe of my grandmother.
The front panel of the skirt is embellished with a beautiful, very elaborate and perfectly crafted frill that runs parallel to the hem and above which, on the right side, there is the embroidery of the monogram of the person for whom this beautiful cloth was made, a B embroidered inside an extremely modern and elaborate frame, as modern as the style of the frill.
The pleating of the skirt is also present on the only pocket I wanted on this apron.
The model is the classic one by Cecibirbona, with a wide bodice that continues into two gathered panels connected on the sides by two bows.
A youthful apron, modern in its being classic and ancient, truly suitable for all ages. It is in fact perfect for a girl but also for an adult lady or a grandmother.
The fit is comfortable, making it suitable for all sizes.
You can see it on the site worn in two different ways, looser or more fitted to the body, so you can adjust it according to your taste and body type.
The fabric is a pure vintage linen hand embroidered, from the first half of the twentieth century. The embroidery is original.
Any small defects in the fabric or small imperfections are not to be considered defects, they are evidence of the past life of this fabric. Appreciate them, they will tell you about other lives, other people and other times.
One size fits all. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall.
