You know that my great passion for everything that is past, everything that is ancient, leads me to continually visit vintage and antique markets.
Sometimes I see objects that I just can't turn my back on, even if I don't think I'll use them for my work. But they're so beautiful and special or precious that I absolutely have to take them with me.
So I brought with me this beautiful double bed sheet in a nice white cotton that looks incredibly embroidered.
An incredible embroidery work, unimaginable the hours that must have been spent to make it.
It is perfectly preserved, certainly never used.
Instead, it is a beautiful set that must be used, as it is made of beautiful cotton, which will be wonderful to sleep in.
What my grandmother used to say were “real naps”!
The entire flounce of the sheet is richly embroidered with a motif of vases decorated with raised flowers and leaves and beautiful cutwork embroidery.
The two pillowcases are large and have a scalloped edge and extensively embroidered front corners. They are also beautiful.

Any small imperfections or small stains should not be considered defects but characteristics of antique and vintage items. They are evidence of their past history. Love these objects as they are, with their baggage of past lives.
