This women's apron is dedicated to my mother who has always used aprons without bib, for cooking and also for gardening.
This apron was made from a long vintage apron with a lovely red cross-stitched EG monogram, made from a really beautiful hemp and linen fabric. The original hem was hand-stitched.
I made a few small changes to this apron: I added the front pocket made from an old dishcloth, as well as adding some red details to reinforce the points most subject to traction.
The half apron is made of a beautiful hemp and linen fabric and features a long skirt with two original open pleats and a convenient pocket in antique hemp and linen, obtained from an old apron.
It is tied at the back or even in front thanks to two long cotton braid ribbons.
It is a rustic apron but its workmanship makes it at the same time wearable on more important and elegant occasions, in contrast.
