A skirt that comes from a vintage fabric, exactly from a vintage bed cover that I bought at an antique market in my beautiful Tuscany.
It was a double bed cover with a flounce from which I managed to obtain two skirts, using the original gathering that was used to cover the bed frame. It had been sewn but never used, so it was in perfect condition, perfect for making a skirt.
A gathered skirt with a comfortable elastic waist and a flounce that ends in delicious lace.
I thought of it as an underskirt for my aprons, because you often ask me how to complete them, but it is also a skirt to wear in the summer, perhaps with a nice hat and a straw bag.
Pure vintage cotton.
Elastic length at rest: approximately 66 cm (reaches approximately 80 cm of waist circumference). Skirt length excluding strap: 90cm.
