Cotton apron with scalloped edges and NM monogram (Ref. 152)
My addiction to aprons is well known to all of you!
Not only do I use them for cooking, but I wear them around the house all the time during many daily activities.
Taking care of our appearance is important, even at home, so the apron must be aesthetically beautiful and suitable not only for cooking but also for entertaining friends or relatives for dinner.
And this is really delicious and suitable for a special occasion, such as a Christmas lunch or a birthday.
This is an apron that is basically a dress to wear over clothes, made from a beautiful vintage cotton fabric and expertly embroidered.
The apron features a delicate cursive monogram, representing the two initials of the woman who commissioned it, NM, embroidered in a beautiful English cursive.
The main feature of this apron is the scalloped motif that decorates the front panel of the skirt, forming a small openwork pleat underneath.
The same embroidery that decorates the front panel of the skirt can be found in the two front pockets.
It is a fresh and youthful apron, in its being timeless.
Also perfect as a gift for someone special.
The design follows the typical Cecibirbona style: a bodice joined by a rich gathered skirt; the closure is on the front or on the back or on the side through two pretty bows.
It can be worn conveniently from above, without having to untie the bows every time.
The photos also show how it can be worn, loose or more fitted, like all my aprons.
The fit is loose and comfortable, suitable for wearing over skirts and trousers, while maintaining a touch of grace and femininity.
This is a unique piece, made with a pure vintage linen fabric, a real treasure.
Any small imperfections tell its story and its age, they should be appreciated and loved, as it is a vintage cloth.
It is easily washable by hand with mild soap or in the washing machine at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, avoiding spinning and drying in the sun.
The size is one size, and in the photos you can see how it fits on me, who is 1.64m tall.
