This apron is wonderful, I want to start right here…because the fabric used to make it is wonderful.

It is a heavy, coarsely woven fabric.
It's not for everyone, it needs to be understood and appreciated.
A rustic, rough fabric, who appears to be a grumpy person on the surface, but once you get to know her well, you never leave her, because she has a heart of gold.

The cloth from which the apron was made was woven on a loom over a century ago and is made up of panels sewn together by hand, seams that can be seen in the skirt.
These precious details and small irregularities in the weave and color, due to the fact that the yarns used were not perfectly the same, are signs of time and testify to its past history, making it beautiful.
When I washed it it softened and became even more beautiful and it will soften further with use and washing, without however abandoning its rustic and sturdy appearance.

The detail that makes it even more special are the two delightful numbers embroidered in red in cross stitch, NA.

The model is typical of Cecibirbona: it features a bodice to which a rich gathered skirt is attached; the front and back are tied with two side bows.
It is worn from above in a very practical way, even without untying the side bows every time, or you can tie the bow at the back and make it more close to the body.
It has two comfortable and roomy pockets.

The fit is loose and comfortable, so it can be worn over skirts and trousers, but is at the same time very graceful.

An apron that can be used at home, but even more so in the garden, because its heaviness makes it perfect for protecting you during heavy work, or even for working in a flower shop or in a delicatessen.

One of a kind.

The fabric is made of hemp and linen, an ancient fabric of over a hundred years. Small imperfections and small stains testify to the age of this fabric and speak of its past.

Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees on delicate cycle. Do not spin.

One size fits all. You see it worn by me who is 1.64 m tall.
